Our process, step by step.
Brand Discovery
We run a structured discovery session with your leadership team to understand your company's values, personality, target audience, competitive context, and design references. We review existing brand assets, identify what is working and what is not, and define the emotional and functional impression your brand needs to create.
Concept Exploration
We develop two to three distinct creative directions, each with a rationale for why it serves your positioning. Each direction includes initial logo concepts, a colour palette, a typography selection, and an example application. This is the creative divergence phase: we need to explore before we converge.
Design Development
We develop the chosen direction into a full identity system: logo variants, colour system, typography hierarchy, iconography, photography style guidelines, and component-level design for your primary digital and print applications. We move through rounds of refinement until the system is complete.
System Delivery & Handoff
We deliver a complete brand guidelines document, all source files in every format you need, and an asset library organised for your internal team to use immediately. The handoff includes a walkthrough session covering how to apply the system correctly across every channel your brand operates in.

What deliverables do I receive from a brand identity project?

You receive the complete logo system in all formats (SVG, PNG, PDF, EPS), a comprehensive brand guidelines document covering colour, typography, logo usage rules, photography style, and application examples, a social media template library, and all source files in Figma and Adobe formats. Everything is yours to own and extend.
How many revision rounds are included?

Our process includes two structured revision rounds after the initial concept presentation, and one final revision round after the chosen direction is developed into the full system. Revisions outside this scope are available at a day rate. In practice, most projects are resolved within the included rounds when the discovery phase is thorough.
Can SA Media redesign an existing brand without losing brand equity?

Yes. A brand evolution that preserves existing equity while modernising the execution is a specific skill set. We audit what is working in your current brand, identify the elements that carry genuine recognition value, and build the new system around those foundations rather than discarding them. A rebrand does not need to mean starting from zero.
